Somebody's Praying

禱告一直是我們不斷在學習的課題。

為自己禱告是容易的, 不僅是因為我們最了解自己的需求!? 也是人類"順性"的反應。然而, 為他人代求則不單是聖經上的教導, 耶穌也我們立下了榜樣。

我勸你，第一要為萬人懇求、禱告、代求、祝謝。(提前2:1)

各位應該有經驗, 當弟兄姊妹一起相約去禱告的時候, 若有人為我們禱告, 常常會令人我們感受到溫暖, 彼此的關係也似乎拉近了許多。同樣的, 當我們在為身旁的人禱告的時候, 對方若是知道, 也會感受到你對他的愛和付出而倍感溫馨。

即便我們不知道有誰在為我禱告, 我也要相信聖靈在為我們代求, 只是不是照我們的意思, 乃是照神的旨意而求。

況且，我們的軟弱有聖靈幫助；我們本不曉得當怎樣禱告，只是聖靈親自用說不出來的歎息替我們禱告。鑒察人心的，曉得聖靈的意思，因為聖靈照著神的旨意替聖徒祈求。羅8:26-27

這首歌-Somebody's Praying (有人在禱告)是我在Billy Graham的音樂紀念專輯中聽到了,由Ricky Skaggs演唱, 第一次聽到他唱到不由自主的流淚時, 我也難掩心中的激動而留下眼淚, 開始想到其實身邊有許多的人, 常常在為我禱告, 只我都沒去發覺到, 或甚至是理所當然。

令我印象深刻的是我的父母為我的禱告。母親常在我生病、面臨考試壓力、找尋人生方向上為我禱告, 陪伴我去渡過這些難關, 父親則常為我的信仰生命禱告, 不斷教導與要求我要去跟隨神, 甚至在我生日的時候, 送給了我一張"麥克阿瑟為兒子的禱告文", 引用的是雅比斯的禱告, 至今仍令我難忘。

鼓勵你, 當你在欣賞這首歌的時候, 可以去思想身邊人對你的愛, 也許他們並不認識神, 但可以開始從你的禱告中, 去把耶穌的愛傳遞身旁的人, 讓他們也知道, 有你在為他禱告。
